About Clare Goodall Mosaics

Clare Goodall is a mosaic artist working from her studio in Oxford. She has been working with mosaics for twelve years.

Clare originally trained in Textile Design at Chelsea School of Art and Goldsmiths College from 1983 -87. She then worked as a Decorative painter designing and painting murals and paint finishes for private homes and businesses in London.

Clare has worked closely with interior designers and architects when a bespoke work of art is needed to enhance a building.

Clare's practice includes private commission work alongside working with others, facilitating mosaics and other arts projects, within other settings such as schools, community and health and day-centres:

"It is the process of making art that can have numerous benefits for the health and wellbeing of a person. I enjoy engaging others to explore their creative potential, increase confidence and to establish a way of working that can be carried on for the individual's benefit and pleasure."

Mosaic courses for beginners and the more advanced students are run by Clare four to five times a year in her studio in Oxford.

She also holds Mosaic parties at your location for children and adults within a 30mile radius of Oxford.
